Must-haves for New Moms and Babies

Finally getting a minute to set up baby girl’s room and organize all the things! 💕🙌 (Moving with a two-month-old was no joke y’all. Still haven’t caught up. 🤪) We still must decide on wallpaper or panels and furniture placement but I’m getting her closet and dresser all done! It’s filled with all the brands that keep us going: @bamboobies, @thefirstyearsbrand, @originalbabymagic, @wishgardenherbs and @triple.paste along with WAY too many clothes and bows already! I partnered with these brands thanks to BabbleBoxx to share a bunch of must-haves for new moms and babies this season.
I’ve known and used Bamboobies for years. The washable nursing pads are too good not to share. Soft, not bulky and easy to throw in the wash! The nipple balm has been a staple for my success in breastfeeding this time around. I highly recommend any of the bamboobie products to any new mom. They truly care about the materials and make up of their products. The nipple balm formula is organic, and plant-with no phthalates, parabens, synthetic fragrances, or toxic chemicals.
Bamboobies gave us a 30% off code! Use Babbleboxx (valid through 12/31/21).
I’ve tried five different bassinets ranging from crazy expensive to affordable. The First Years First Dreams 3D Portable Bassinet ranks at the top of my list for ease of set up and the actual product design. It is lightweight, has 360 mesh sides, safety-tested for safe sleep and even a carry tote for outings and travel! When I say easy, I mean easy… it’s only one pull and the bassinet collapses! EASY!
The First Years Gentle Warmth Digital Bottle Warmer is a legit game changer and I am so glad I got one for Caroline. It is FANCY compared to what I had before. It warms up bottles AND FOOD evenly and effectively to make it the right temperature. The digital touch screen shows you what’s going on which makes it easy for anyone to use, too. *Cough Cough* dad… Whether you’re heating up breastmilk or formula, those extremely tiring night feedings will be not so tiring with this little thing!
Baby Magic… you already know I love them. This is my 3 or 4th time partnering with them. Baby Magic is there for your family and the products they make are made with baby in mind. Clean ingredients, free of sulfates, parabens, dyes, and phthalates. I got to try a new scent this time around and it’s so good! The Baby Magic Moisturizing Lotion lotion is enriched with nourishing Calendula, hydrating coconut oil, and soothing aloe and the Baby Magic Gentle Hair & Body Wash is made for daily use, all safe for baby (and the whole family!). My 6-year-old loves that it’s tear-free, but I love that its hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested.
The next two products are new to me – but I’ve seriously enjoyed them over the past few weeks and months.
WishGarden Herbs is a company that uses liquid herbal extracts for remedies that have been around for hundreds of years! They developed postpartum products to give mamas a little extra support. We all need it – sometimes we just don’t ask for it! AfterEase is formulated to soothe the afterbirth pains and contractions. There are (very normal) temporary afterbirth contractions that occur when the uterus is getting back to its pre-pregnancy size. AfterEase is a formula to help calm and support your body as it adjusts. Baby Blues is a postpartum mood support to helps mothers who are struggling with baby blues. Use this in an addition to talking to your doctor! The combination of herbs helps your body get back to the healthy hormone levels.
The REAL MVP this year has been Triple Paste Diaper Rash Cream! Triple Paste has been a lifesaver the last 4 months. We tried all the normal things with Caroline and then the hippie things and nothing worked. I read the reviews of Triple Paste and we never looked back. It is that good. The perfect combination of medicine and ingredients without unnecessary chemicals or ingredients. We have giant tube at the changing table and mini tubes in all the cars and diaper bags. We love it because it really does work!
Now that we’ve got these mama must-haves organized, I probably need to decorate… where to begin?!
