Hi Lovely Home Summer Cleaning Prep
As most of us are “bored in the house and in the house bored,” I thought I would pull together some of my favorite cleaning products to up your Summer cleaning game. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been organizing and cleaning like a mad woman. Is my house still a mess? Yes. But it’s as clean as it’ll get with a child, dog and two parents stuck in quarantine.
Let’s start first with a “local” product but not really local, they’ve taken the US by storm. Lemi Shine is based right here in Austin, TX and I’ve been using them for a few years now. Started off with their dishwasher detergent mainly because there are NO gross chemicals and they seem to make every dish like new. I can go straight from sink to dishwasher with little washing. The Lemi Shine Dish Detergent Booster is a new product to me but apparently, it’s the #1 dish detergent booster… I probably should have been using it all along. SO good! Both products are great with hard water like ours and it truly helps me save time on hand washing or washing multiple times.
Next up… my new baby, the brand-spanking-new Eureka NES510 Flash Corded Stick Vacuum Cleaner. It came out just last month and I’m seriously so impressed. It’s SUPER lightweight –perfect for my 5-year-old to help with cleaning – and packs a serious punch. I was pleasantly surprised at the price (under $150) and the quality of the vacuum. This next one is my husband and I’s tried and true cleaning tool – we use it in the house, cars and even on the boat. Drumroll please…. The Mr. Clean’s Magic Eraser. DUH! It’s a complete one man show – boat cleaner, handle cleaner, wall cleaner, car cleaner, bathtub cleaner, oven door cleaner, light switch cleaner, doors cleaner, and all-around cleaner. And last but not least is my new favorite multipurpose cleaner. It SMELLS so good and cleans even better. Enter ONE Clean Home – a multi-surface foaming cleaner that can handle wood, granite and tons of hard surfaces. It’s one of the best granite cleaners I’ve used in a long time and it’s made of a natural, non-toxic citric acid – aka safer for my family. I’m secretly hiding this one because if my husband sees how good it cleans he’ll take it for the cars and boats. So shhhh…. Don’t tell your husband that you can use indoors, outdoors and all the spaces in between!
