Wedding Nightmares
Today’s Blogtember post is a little fiction piece where I have compiled my recent wedding nightmares together.
“To say I was dreading the dinner party would be the understatement of the century. My mom never showed up today. She was supposed to bring the flowers and the rest of the decorations and be my rock through this tiring day. I’m sitting at the venue and the preacher is not here. Not surprised. My whole day has been a jumble of mishaps and spilled milk. To say the least, a rehearsal dinner is not going to ease my stress or calm my nerves. The weekend is in shambles and only a miracle can save it. A silver car rolls in and here she comes tumbling over the things in her hands! I knew she wouldn’t let me down. Super mom has saved the day!” (I wish that is how my nightmares have ended but I’ll change it here!)
On a happier note, Chris and I got to play with old cars yesterday and had a ton of fun!
Until next time,
Erin
Ha! I love that you were inspired by your wedding nightmares for this : ) Aren’t they the worst?? I think I had a lot of dreams about being at other peoples’ weddings too – crazy!
Oh my goodness – it’s like every night is a new fiasco! Luckily, the things I dream about are already checked off my list so hopefully, nothing will go wrong!
