We decided on a 4-bedroom farmhouse in Fredericksburg, TX, also known as Texas Wine Country. It is one of the cutest little towns I’ve ever visited, and we love to come a few times a year. With the dogs and kids in tow, we decided on a larger house about two blocks off the main drive, where we could walk or take a short drive anywhere in town. The property also has a pool and a  hot tub! We used the hot tub both nights, as it was our first chilly weekend!

Another nice thing about Vacasa is the mobile app that give you all the details to your house – what you can use,  specific instructions, and all the details of your stay. We called and got early check-in and did the same for late check-out, too. The 24/7 customer care team was so accommodating and even checked in later in the day to see how we liked everything.

We threw a little party to celebrate the holiday season with wine and cheese for the adults and pretzels and pumpkin pie for the kiddos. We painted pumpkins, played music and jumped in the hot tub – all while not destroying each other’s houses. Can I get an AMEN to that?!
