The Parade of Homes goes on until November 4th and features homes from Toll Brothers, Taylor Morrison, and Drees, as well as custom builders from the Austin area. It’s just a short drive outside of Austin to Travisso, and it’s well worth it! ALL of the homes are finished out fantastically. Go in each home and take in the new paint smell, the gorgeous floors and the immaculate kitchens. Sit in a bathtub if you really like it. I did. No shame here.
You get to vote on the four custom homes. It’s HARD to pick. Really, really hard! My choice was based on what we’re going to build in a few months but my second choice was SO close. If the interior designer of my second pick did the inside of my first pick it’d be the ultimate dream home!
Drumroll please….
My vote is for the Glazier Scandinavian Farmhouse! It’s perfect for us. Exactly what we want to build, on a smaller scale, and the architect, builder and designer did an amazing job. And the pool? Icing on the top!
Second pick was the Aluxa home. The interior designer was absolutely the best out of all of them. The kitchen was such a beauty! The lighting, floors, bathrooms we’re just perfect!
Here are shots of the other two parade homes, too! Hill Country Artisan Builders and Vogul Builders. Both increible homes and the finish outs are swoon-worthy!
My choice for the best home builder in Travisso? Toll Brothers. (But the other two were so great, too!) Loved the finish out and the open floor plan of the courtyard to living room to back porch. Swing those doors open, baby!
Thank you so much for your love of the interior design at the Aluxa home!! I really appreciate it – it was truly a labor of love! Your generous words are a great compliment, and I hope you’ll stop by again sometime 😀
Love, Melisa

Of course!! You’re on our list for doing our interior design once we start building, too!
Wow. Nice review. I visited the homes yesterday. All were fabulous! The Skandinavian farmhouse was my favorite too! Loved the layout, all the organic materials – when can I move in? And I know the designer of this home – Riley – and she is wonderful, friendly, and as down-to-earth as they come. The tour made for a great, fun afternoon. I would go again but it is closed now.
They were all so pretty!
I like the view! Stunning! Great photos!
Thanks so much!
You’ve chosen the two best ones! They’re beautifully designed and built! 🙂
Thanks for sharing these great home inspiration.
Cheers,
Jessica
