Spring has sprung here in Central Texas. Officially time to break out the sunglasses!Punxsutawney Phil predicted an early spring after failing to see his shadow this last week. Technically, we in Austin have already been experiencing spring with temperatures in the 70’s and 80’s for the past three weeks. I’m not complaining because it does feel amazing outside but I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to winter yet. We did not have one day where I needed to where a heavy coat, only one morning with my windows slightly frozen and only a few days where I had to wear thick, boot socks.
Oh global warming, why do you hate Texas so much?!
After living in South and Central Texas for 24 years I should be used to no winters by now, but I’m always hopeful for a little change and a little snow!
I am going to embrace the new weather, mainly because I have no other choice, and I’m going to especially enjoy the need for more clothing and accessories. That’s the excuse I’ll be telling my fiancé 😉
