Greek Yogurt Chocolate Chip Cookies
Like I’ve said before, I am always trying to bake with less calories and less fat. Enter my new favorite ingredient… GREEK YOGURT!! I put you in smoothies every morning, why did I not ever think to put you in my cookies??
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups of flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar
1/4 cup of sugar
3/4 cup of Greek yogurt
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups of chocolate chips (a whole bag is about 2 cups)
Directions:
1. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl
2. In mixer, beat eggs and sugars until smooth
3. Add in greek yogurt and vanilla
4. Slowly, add the flour mixture to the mixing bowl
5. Turn down mixing speed and add the chocolate chips
6. Spoon cookie dough {1 tbsp} onto a parchment lined cookie sheet
7. Bake @375 for 10 – 15 minutes and cool on rack
