Quit Comparing and Inspire Instead
These are the days of social media and “picture perfect” moms, families, homes and relationships constantly entering your social feeds.
It’s almost inevitable that you will compare yourself to one of these pristine feeds. Don’t do it! Try your hardest to celebrate that sparkling, dream kitchen or super, fit mom instead of comparing your life and body to them. Be proud of that messy playroom and celebrate that you survived another day keeping your kids clothed, fed and loved.
What I do to stop myself from comparisons is weekly gratitudes and scrolling pinterest for inspirational quotes. And I’m not going to lie… I still catch myself yearning for a friend’s marble kitchen or perfectly clean house. And just so you know, a blogger or photographer doesn’t show the dishes piled in the sink or the dirty laundry on the floor, but it’s still there. My feed is mreative outlet but guess what? My floors are still dirty.
If I’m intentional with my thoughts then I can stop and celebrate the ability of others and continue on with my beautiful, crazy life! You can, too.

I love the last quote “Be believing. Be happy. Don’t get discouraged. Things will work out” That’s what I’m always thinking whenever I’m in my lowest point. I always think that things will be okay soon, and I just trust everything to God.
