Celebrating with Harry & David Gourmet

Chris’ 40th birthday snuck up on me. We tossed around ideas for what to do, where to go and all he could come up with was ride scooters downtown… Thanks for the effort hun. We finally decided on a low-key house party with his best friends. I hate shopping all over town for party eats and treats and we couldn’t decide on dinner as usual.

We did the Ultimate Charcuterie and Cheese Collection and Wine Trio and another Cheese and Charcuterie selection. All I added to my table was fruit. (Which I already had in the fridge!)

I had fun not leaving the house and finding all the right meats and cheese and thoroughly enjoyed making my charcuterie board and popping those bottles of wine. The boys would come in and snack off the selection while my girlfriend and I got to eat and drink and enjoy each other’s company! The girl’s personal favorites were the roasted artichokes, Cabernet Sauvignon, prosciutto, and the Merlot cheese. Mmm. The boys loved the salami, especially the truffle one, any of the cheeses, Bruschetta spread and the bread.

All in all I was super impressed with the new Harry & David Gourmet options. I’ll definitely use them again for parties, especially now that I’m working and my time is so precious! Did I mention they have gourmet dinners and party meals? Thanksgiving options, too? WHAT?!
