Texas Bluebonnets.
Texas is beautiful. Plain and simple. Wildflowers grow all over the state in the spring and early summer. Texas bluebonnets are my absolute favorite part of spring. They go quite nicely next to the lake in the the flowing hills of Mulshoe Bend Park. Just minutes away from the house. We got started this morning here and ended up driving the backroads back to Austin for the Lone Star Jam Festival. Bluebonnets and Texas Country = one pretty, damn good day.

Thanks! We went late in the season so their blooms were starting to die. They look purple when they start to fade!
