Life on the Road: Week One

Our RV is cleaned, hitched up and ready for some cross country traveling.

Am I happy? Um. Yes. I am happy that I am traveling with my fiancé and my sweet dog. Am I absolutely thrilled to be RVing for a few months? It’s growing on me. (Some days..)

First stop. Land Between the Lakes.

Can you say gorgeous?!? Tall trees and cool winds and a stunning lake. It trumps Lake Travis in Texas. (Mainly because Lake Travis is dried up. Please God, send rain to Austin.)

I’m running in the mornings here. It’s actually quite pleasant and cool. Major difference from 103 degrees and the 112 heat index.

My attire is not as glamorous as usual but I am trying to look as cute as a little camper can.
