I try to be different ever year on wrapping paper but end up spending way too much money. Does anyone else have that problem??

This year I knew I wanted to do something cute and cheap. My good friend Brittany always does the cutest newspaper wrapping paper so I didn’t want to steal her idea. But I still wanted to do something similar – basic, fun and fabulous.

Enter craft paper, washi tape and paper doilies.

I had the craft paper from moving (Can I say FREE??) and got a big roll of polka dot craft paper for $1. That’s right – ONE dollar at Target. (In their party favor section!) The lacy, paper doilies were .49 at Michael’s. (Thank you Michaels for always having a coupon!) And the washi or craft tape were $1.50 each at Michael’s, too. I spent a total of $5 on wrapping paper for around 20 gifts. Super saver moment here.

This is my final result. I had so much fun creating different looks on each package!

What will you be wrapping your gifts with this year??

Until next time,
